April 26, 2025 - Palo Pinto County on Tour (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)

A self-paced historical & wildflower driving tour sponsored by the Palo Pinto County Historical Commission. This event is held every two years in odd numbered years. Purchase a ticket on day of tour and start tour at any location; proceed as you wish.  Tickets will also be sold in advance the month before tour at Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce (940-325-2557) and Bennett's Office Supply in Mineral Wells (940-325-1344).  Adults - $20; Children 6-15 - $5; Children under 6 - Free

The following historic sites are included on the April 26, 2025 tour:

2) Old Jail Museum Complex, 231 South 5th Ave., Palo Pinto, TX 76484

Open 1st weekend of March through 2nd weekend of December.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Free admission.
